SANTA TO RAISE MONEY FOR WISH UPON A DREAM - 4th December 2008

Santa will be making a special visit to the Sure store on Strand Street later this month, to help raise money for Wish Upon A Dream.

On Saturday 13th December 2008, Father Christmas will be in store between 10.30am and 3pm allowing children to have their photographs taken with him in return for a small donation to the charity.

SURE’S FAIRIES! - 4th September 2008

Children are being encouraged to register for the first ever ‘Sure Fairy Dash’, which is taking place next month in Douglas. All of the money raised at the event will go towards ‘Project Dolphin’, the wish being granted by Sure through the Manx-registered charity, ‘Wish Upon A Dream’.

SURE’S FAIRY FRIDAY HITS DOUGLAS! - 24th July 2008

Fifteen fairies will be taking to the streets of Douglas on Friday 15th August, to raise money for ‘Project Dolphin’, one of the wishes being granted by Manx charity ‘Wish Upon A Dream’, and telecoms company, Sure.

The girls, who either work for Sure or are friends with the team, will work their way along a pub crawl route through Douglas town centre that evening, complete with wings, wands and tutus. They will be collecting as much money as possible.

SURE HELPS TO MAKE WISHES COME TRUE - 8th July 2008

Sure has joined forces with one of the island’s newest charities to help send a sick little boy on the holiday of a lifetime.

The ‘Wish Upon A Dream’ charity will be working with the telecoms provider over the next 12 months to help give the little boy an experience he will never forget. The wish, which is for him to go on a sunshine break with his close family, has been code-named ‘Project Dolphin’.

Parish Walk 2008

This year Sue Biggart she is the 'RAINING CHAMPION" of the ladies Parish Walk, decided she would walk for charity and chose Wish Upon A Dream (she is a paediatric nurse) so many of the children we deal with she knows and it touches her heart.

MANX2.COM FLIGHT - 25th June

7 children are supposed to be going on a dream flight on Wednesday 25th June with Manx2.com. It is one year on Wednewsday since we granted the first wish to Joseph and it coincides with the 2nd birthday of Manx2.com. Border News etc are all there...weather permitting...this is 3rd time lucky we hope.
